Four long years of hardships and trials for the residents of the once greatest country in the world were the most difficult in the twentieth century. In may 1945, everyone in a war-torn world and in Berlin it was already clear that the long-awaited and hard-won victory is in sight. However, the resistance of the German troops, despite the clear and obvious destruction of not only weakened, but with the fury of the doomed increased. Fierce and bloody was the battle for Berlin itself. The capital of the third Reich, the Wehrmacht fought desperately, violently fought with the Waffen-SS, the losses of the Soviet troops as a result were large, the most fierce was the battle for Reichkanzler and Reichstag building. To take the Reichstag from the move failed, as the defense of the Reichstag was attended by five thousand soldiers, most of whom served in the SS, who met the Soviet soldiers with barrage of fire.

April 29 was taken from one of the bridges over the river spree, and on April 30 the building of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Nazi Germany.
